Lately I've been making a lot of 'retro' covers - very much inspired by Spacesick's wonderful 'I can read movies' collection (see: here), where a relatively modern film is given a make-over to look like a paperback from the 1960s.
This isn't really anything too unique but it is great practice for more graphic-based work, aiming for simpler shapes and bolder colours. Here's a few I've done so far... try to ignore the fact most were already books in the first place.
